Privacy Policy

Effective October 2026

Scoela Corp. ("Scoela," "we," "us") is a New York corporation. This policy explains what information we collect through scoela.com and go.scoela.com, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information you give us

When you request a community review, we collect your first and last name, your work email address, your title, your organization's name, type and website, your organization's Instagram and Facebook accounts if you choose to give them, and anything you add in the optional notes field. We use your work email and your organization's website to confirm that you are affiliated with the organization, and we review your organization's public website and social pages to prepare your community review. When you email us, we receive your email address and the contents of your message.

Information collected automatically

Our website hosting providers collect basic usage information when you visit scoela.com or follow a go.scoela.com link: pages viewed, the site that referred you, approximate location based on your IP address, and your device and browser type. It uses cookies to do this. When you scan a Scoela QR code or follow a Scoela campaign link, we record that it was used, when, and which campaign it belongs to.

How we use information

We use it to respond to your request, to provide and improve our services, to understand how our website is used, to keep our systems secure, and to meet legal obligations.

What we do not do

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with other companies for their own marketing.

Who we share it with

We share information only with service providers that help us run our website and email, under agreements that limit their use of it; when the law requires it; or as part of a merger or sale of our business.

Our standard for client work

When we run campaigns for our clients, we work from public sources and information our clients are authorized to share. We do not use student, patient or case records, and we do not target ads by race, ethnicity, religion or national origin.

How long we keep it

We keep inquiry information as long as needed to respond and for our business records. Inquiries that do not lead to an engagement are deleted after 24 months.

Your choices

You can ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing info@scoela.com. You can set your browser to refuse cookies; some parts of the site may not work as intended.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
